About Me
I absolutely love yoga because of the many benefits it has brought to my life. I had practiced yoga on and off over the years but following a long lapse, I rediscovered yoga several years ago. The timing was perfect and I was well and truly hooked this time around! Now in my more mature years my body is much stronger and I feel supple and well. Yoga has provided me with a ‘tool-kit’ to cope with the everyday ebbs and flows of life and I have become calmer and more self-aware.
After experiencing the magic of yoga, I decided I wanted to bring yoga to my local community of Didcot and share this lovely practice. I joined the highly respected Sam Rao Yoga School where I successfully achieved the Yoga Alliance Professionals 250 hours qualification which enables me to teach yoga.
This quote by Lemn Sissay really resonates with me and I think it reflects my approach to my classes, living in the present moment and taking “One day at a time.”
I live in Didcot with my family, and I work as a Registered General Nurse as well as working as a Plants Enthusiast within the Horticulatural Team at a big, local garden centre. As well as yoga, I enjoy nature and being outside, particularly walking up on the Ridgeway with my little dog, Matty. I also like gardening and plants and have quite a jungle of houseplants too!
